Careprost is a brand name for a medication primarily used to treat hypotrichosis, a condition where there is inadequate or sparse eyelashes. The active ingredient in Careprost is bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%. Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in Careprost, belongs to a class of medications called prostaglandin analogs. It works by increasing the length, thickness, and darkness of eyelashes by prolonging the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle.
