Description
Oxycodone lower doses, such as five mg and 10 mg is usually prescribed by doctors to patients with no opioid dependence as well as for pain relief that is short-term in contrast to higher doses, such as 20 mg, Oxycodone 30 milligrams or 80 mg are generally used for patients with chronic pain who've developed tolerance to opioids. Oxycodone is available via the immediate release (IR) and extended release (ER) forms, including ER versions like the 80 mg dosage that are designed to give constant pain relief for 12 hours. Because of the dangers of abuse, addiction and possibly fatal overdoses, it is recommended to use oxycodone only under the supervision of a doctor and the patient must adhere to the dosage guidelines carefully.
